U.S. to Approve Annexation of Palestinians in Israel

According to Jared Kushner, the White House will approve the annexation of Palestinians if they refuse to negotiate in peace deals with the United States.

Kushner, senior advisor to President Trump, explained that the US will continue with the Middle East peace plan regardless of Palestine’s cooperation.

Middle East Peace Plan “Deal of the Century”

This peace plan, also known as the “Deal of the Century“, would seek to resolve the ongoing conflict between the Jewish and Palestinian people in Israel. A few components of this plan would include:

  • A Two-State Solution Creating a “State” of Palestine
  • Land Swaps
  • Demilitarization of the Palestinian State
  • Settlement Negotiations
  • Maintaining Recognition of Israeli Sovereignty over Jerusalem
  • Working Relations between United States & Palestine

Kushner: Annexation of Palestinians in Israel to be Approved by U.S.

However, this Middle East peace plan was already rejected by the Palestinian people. Palestine has refused to be involved in any negotiations, resulting in a deadlock in proceedings.

According to Jared Kushner, Palestinian refusal to negotiate will not halt proceedings. President Trump’s administration will give White House approval of the annexation of Palestinians in Israel. Kushner told US senators in a meeting last Wednesday:

“Nobody can say we didn’t give the Palestinians a chance to go back to the table. If they want to talk, we are ready.”

The implications of this are yet to be seen. However with tensions higher than ever between Israel and Palestine, it is not hard to imagine the ramifications. The annexation of Palestinians in Israel would escalate an already volatile situation. Not to mention increasing strain on the tumultuous relationship between the United states and Palestine.
